Microsoft has announced a native Microsoft Teams app optimized for the Mac lineup with Apple Silicon

Microsoft has announced a native Microsoft Teams app optimized for the Mac lineup with Apple Silicon (that is, Mac M.x processors).

It’s an universal binary version of Teams, which means it will run natively on the entire Mac lineup. For Mac users, this means a significant boost in performance, ensuring efficient use of device resources and an optimized Teams experience even when using multiple high-resolution monitors during calls or meetings, according to Microsoft.

Microsoft Teams is a proprietary business communication platform as part of the Microsoft 365 family of products. Teams primarily competes with the similar service Slack, offering workspace chat and videoconferencing, file storage, and application integration.
