Meet Dennis Sellers

Hi, Dennis Sellers here. I’m happy to be joining the Apple World Today team. It feels like I’ve come home.

I was the news editor for MacCentral (which eventually grew into the biggest Apple news site in the world) from 1998 to 2003 under the guidance of the late Stan Flack, a dear friend of mine. It was bought by Mac Publishing in 1999 and eventually folded into Macworld. I launched Macsimum News and ran it from 2004 to 2010 until it was acquired by Xplain Corp., the folks behind the MacTech print magazine, website and conference series. For the past three years, I’ve been the editor of Apple Daily Report, a site for Apple Specialists throughout the U.S.

Other than Apple journalism, I’ve penned news, features, sports, movie reviews, opinion columns and editorials for nine weekly, two daily newspapers and a variety of national and regional publications.

In addition to Apple World Today, I do other freelance writing/editing, including some work for MacTech. When I’m not working, you can find me doing church work, running, playing various sports, going to movies, and reading.

I’ve been married to my lovely wife (Laura) for almost 36 years. We have two children: Katie and Matt. Matt and his wife, Jennifer, are having their first child within the month.
