‘MacVoices’: Macstock organizer talks cancelation and next year’s plans

Macstock organizer Mike Potter has announced that this year’s event has joined the list of cancellations due to COVID-19. On the latest episode of MacVoices, he joins host Chuck Joiner to walk us through the behind-the-scenes factors that went into that decision.

A disappointment? Absolutely, but Potter has bigger and better plans for the conference’s return in 2021. He shares some of the details, explains how ticket refunds and carry-over work, and teases a little something special to tide us over.

MacVoices is an Internet show that delivers in-depth discussions with the most influential people in the Mac industry as well as the individuals who are out there making it happen on the front lines of the global Apple community. Founded as an audio program in 2005, the show has evolved into audio and video versions to offer the best of both worlds

Joiner is the producer and host of MacVoices. You can catch up with what he’s doing on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
