‘MacVoices’ looks at the Transcriptive web site, new version of Flicker Free

On a new episode of MacVoices, Jim Tierney, the chief anarchist at Digital Anarchy, talks with host Chuck Joiner about how the Transcriptive web site is now live and out of beta.

He discusses why now is the time for Transcriptive to become available to everyone, how it works, and what results you can expect. That includes some tips on being realistic in those expectations, both from an audio recording quality perspective as well as from the transcription perspective.

Transcriptive isn’t just for video editors; Tierney details how you can get use it to transcribe almost any audio file. He also talks about the latest release of Flicker Free, Digital Anarchy’s product that solves the problem of that flickering video that you shoot and are always disappointed with.

MacVoices is an Internet show that delivers in-depth discussions with the most influential people in the Mac industry as well as the individuals who are out there making it happen on the front lines of the global Apple community. Founded as an audio program in 2005, the show has evolved into audio and video versions to offer the best of both worlds.

Joiner is the producer and host of MacVoices. You can catch up with what he’s doing on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
