‘MacVoices’ looks at new, upgraded NAS models from Synology

On the new episode of MacVoices, Kyle Foster, marketing specialist for Synology, joins host Chuck Joiner to introduce the company’s new, upgraded NAS models for both home and business.

He talks about how Synology names their products so that you know exactly what each can do. Expandable by RAM upgrades, multiple bay expansion units, or SSD caches, Synology offers lots of options, from private clouds to media servers, to backup servers. Foster also talks about the benefits of some of these, what RAID is, and why you don’t need to be a network guru to reap its benefits.

MacVoices is an Internet show that delivers in-depth discussions with the most influential people in the Mac industry as well as the individuals who are out there making it happen on the front lines of the global Apple community. Founded as an audio program in 2005, the show has evolved into audio and video versions to offer the best of both worlds.
