‘MacVoices’ looks at how to run the macOS Big Sur beta

On the latest episode of MacVoices, Jeff Gamet, David Ginsburg, Frank Petrie, and host Chuck Joiner continue their discussion of how to safely run the macOS Big Sur developer (or public) beta by making an external SSD recommendation.

They also dig in to the violation of Apple’s NDA by developers publishing benchmarks of the developer Mac mini units. Some of the other topics covered include the upsides and downsides of rumors and how they are handled by the media, Apple’s new openness, and how iPad Pro uses are and will affect future Mac design.

MacVoices is an Internet show that delivers in-depth discussions with the most influential people in the Mac industry as well as the individuals who are out there making it happen on the front lines of the global Apple community. Founded as an audio program in 2005, the show has evolved into audio and video versions to offer the best of both worlds.
