‘MacVoices Live!’: who’s got your data (and how did they get it)?

MacVoices

On the new MacVoices Live!, the panel of David Ginsburg, Jeff Gamet, Mark Fuccio, Warren Sklar, Jim Rea, Guy Serle, Andrew Orr, Kelly Guimont, and Brittany Smith join host Chuck Joiner for the third, and final part, of their discussion about privacy, security, and social media.

It wraps up with the recognition that we helped create some of the problems by not understanding what we were (and are) sharing, how and why we may be sharing our friends’ information inadvertently, and some tips, tools, and tricks to cut down on both the tracking and the manipulation. If you come for the show, you should stay for the after-show that offers some pointers about data sharing and using social media to safely connect.

MacVoices is an Internet show that delivers in-depth discussions with the most influential people in the Mac industry as well as the individuals who are out there making it happen on the front lines of the global Apple community. Founded as an audio program in 2005, the show has evolved into audio and video versions to offer the best of both worlds.

Joiner is the producer and host of MacVoices. You can catch up with what he’s doing on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
