Macally’s ergonomic keyboard is backlit, rechargeable, and works with macOS/iOS/iPadOS devices

I’ve never found keyboards designed for ultra-efficient ergonomics to suit my needs. However, if you like such keyboards, Macally’s Backlit, Bluetooth & Rechargeable Ergonomic Keyboard for Mac offers a lot of features for US$79.99.

The ergonomic design includes a split layout, padded wrist support, and adjustable kickstands. The goal is to ensure comfort and productivity across multiple devices. If, like me, you’re used to working on more traditionally designed keyboards, there’ll be a learning curve as the Macally product splits the key into two zones and at an angle that is supposed to provide a more natural arm pose.

One of the Macally ergonomic keyboard’s strong points are the crisp white backlit keys with adjustable brightness levels. Other nice features:

° A 110-key Mac specific layout with 21 macOS shortcut keys;

° The ability to pair up to three Bluetooth devices simultaneously and switch between them on the fly. This includes macOS, iOS, and iPadOS designs.

° A built-in 500mAh rechargeable battery, included charging cable, and an on/off switch.

If you’re not a fan of the standard Mac keyboard or if you suffer from issues such as carpal tunnel syndrome, it might be worth your time to look into Macally’s alternative.
