The article says LG Display will start production in the second quarter at its E6 plant in Paju, Gyeonggi Province. The plant, consisting of two OLED production lines, has a monthly production capacity of six million OLED screens but its full-capacity production is expected to start next year considering its still low yield rate, per The Korea Herald.
In November 2017, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo told clients that Apple has a 6.5-inch OLED iPhone planned for the second half of 2018. He says it will be the general size of a Plus-sized iPhone and add an edge-to-edge OLED display.
