Apple TV+’s The Morning Show is doing well this awards season. At Sunday’s 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles Jennifer Aniston won an SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her leading role as morning news anchor Alex Levy in the series.
Apple TV+’s The Morning Show was nominated for three Golden Globe awards: best TV drama series and best actress for both Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. Billy Crudrup was also nominated as best supporting actor by the The Critics Choice Association. Crudup also won a 2020 Critics’ Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series
The Morning Show is described as “an inside look at the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning, exploring the unique challenges faced by the women and men who carry out this daily televised ritual.
