iPhone X makes ‘Most Innovative Tech,’ Digital Trends ‘Best Products’ lists

Apple’s iPhone X has been honored in the first annual Innovation Awards by Tom’s Guide, as well as Digital TrendsBest Products of 2017 list. 

The former honors products “that truly pushed technology forward in 2017, making life easier and more fun for consumers.” The iPhone X was named the best overall product. 

Other items on the list are the LG Signature OLED TV W, Star Wars: Jedi Challenges, Lego Boost, Nvidia Max-Q, Samsung Galaxy S8, DJI Spark drone, Nvidia Shield, AMD’s Threadripper CPU, reMarkable Tablet, Razer Kiyo, Amazon Echo & Alexa, and the Nintendo Switch.

Tom’s Guide is a site that “helps consumers make better buying decisions on everything from smartphones and TVs to antivirus software and smart home gadgets, testing hundreds of products and evaluating the brands that make them.”

Digital Trends is an independently owned technology review site. It evaluated more than 600 products, and its editors selected top contenders across 10 categories for is Best Products List. Nintendo’s Switch earned top honors. 

The iPhone X was named the best mobile product. Other winners include the Honda Civic Type R, the Microsoft Surface Pro, Formlabs Fuse 1 (a 3D printer), The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the LG C7 OLED, BioLite Firepit, Sony A9, and the Google Hme Mini.
