iPhone sales in China beat all expectations in quarter four

French authorities have approved an Apple software update for the iPhone 12, reports Reuters.

iPhone 12 sales in China exceeded all expectations in the fourth quarter of last year, according to DigiTimes.

Referencing data available from the local media, the report says that 18 million units of Apple’s smartphone were told. That gives the company over 20% market share. This lines up with a report from investment bank JP Morgan that Apple Apple gained significant ground in China despite a seasonal decline in the region’s total smartphone industry.
