This morning, I downloaded and installed iOS 11 Developer Beta 1 on my test iPad, which is an iPad mini 2. The download and installation were quite fast; Apple made it easy for developers to do the install as an “Over The Air” update by making it necessary to download and approve a profile, then rebooting the device. Once that was done, the installation was just like any Apple other operating system update – fast!
