Apple TV+ has “quietly” rolled out an expansion of its library of films in the US, with the streaming service adding a number of licensed movies not owned by the company, for the first time, reports TechRadar.
The article adds that, in what appears to be an experimental move, the service is currently offering a number of older movies to watch for free to subscribers, including hits such as “Anchorman” and the “Hunger Games” series.
These films and others (a total of about 20) appear as suggested bonus content when browsing “Spirited,” “Mythic Quest,” and “Causeway” – Apple TV Plus’s three most recent major releases that are exclusive to the platform. The movies are currently only being offered to subscribers using Apple’s streaming service in the US,
