As pricey as the Apple Vision Pro is, I hate to recommend purchasing AppleCare for it since that costs an extra US$499. However, if you don’t spring for it, you could end up spending north of $2,000 if the spatial computer gets damaged.
On an https://support.apple.com/apple-vision-pro/repair, it divides featured services for those who pay for AppleCare+:
° Cover glass repair: “We replace cracked cover glasses for a fee. Accidental damage isn’t covered by the Apple warranty. Cover glass repairs are eligible for coverage for accidental damage from handling with your AppleCare+.”
° Battery service: “We can replace your Apple Vision Pro battery for a fee. Our warranty doesn’t cover batteries that wear down from normal use. Your product is eligible for a battery replacement at no additional cost if you have AppleCare+ and your product’s battery holds less than 80 percent of its original capacity.”
If you cover glass gets cracked, it will cost you $299 without AppleCare and $299 with AppleCare. Other damage (which is pretty vague) could cost up to $2,399 without AppleCare, and $299 with AppleCare.
