How to save battery life automatically with the iPhone’s Low Power Mode

iPhone has a useful built-in battery saving mode — dubbed, appropriately, “Low Power Mode,” that you can set to run automatically when the smartphone is low on juice. Here’s how to enable it:

° Open the Shortcuts app.

° Tap on “Automation” at the bottom of the screen.

° Create a personal automation that will enable Low Power Mode by tapping the “+” symbol in the top right corner of the Shortcut screen.

° Scroll down until you find “Battery Level” and select it.

° A slider will appear that allows you to choose the battery percentage at which you want Low Power Mode to be activated. Move the slider to where you want it, then tap “Next.”

° Choose what happens when your battery reaches the chosen percentage by tapping “Add Action.”

° Select “Set Low Power Mode.”

° Turn off the “Ask Before Running” setting so the automation will work automatically in the background.

° Tap “Done.
