How to ‘Find My Car’ with iOS 17

Do you often forget where you parked your car in the mall parking lot? If you’ve got an iPhone running iOS 11 or later, no problem.

Do you often forget where you parked your car in the mall parking lot? If you’ve got an iPhone running iOS 11 or later, no problem. Here’s how with iOS 17:

° In the Settings app, tap Notifications. 

° Tap Maps.

° Turn on Allow Notifications and select the type of alerts that you want to receive.

° In Maps, choose Parked Car from the results to view the location, edit the location, or add notes. Tap Directions to then route to your car. 

° On your Home Screen, tap the Search field. Tap Parked Car below the Siri Suggestions to get directions to your car. 

° You need to turn on Bluetooth and use Maps on an iPhone 6 or later with iOS 1` or later to use Show Parked Location. Maps drops a parked car marker when you disconnect your iPhone from your car’s Bluetooth or CarPlay system and exit your vehicle.
