Here’s how to enable or disengage the Siri light on your HomePod

When you say “Hey, Siri,” the light atop your HomePod starts glowing. That doesn’t bother me, but it does others. Thankfully, you can turn it off. Here’s how:

Launch the Home app on your iPhone.

Press and hold the HomePod tile

Press Details.

Find the toggle switch next to “Light When Using Siri” and tap on it to turn it off.

To turn the light back on::

Launch the Home app on your iPhone.

Press and hold the HomePod tile

Press Details.

Find the toggle switch next to “Light When Using Siri” and tap on it to turn it on.

(This how-to is based on my experiences and info on Apple’s support pages — where the images sometimes come from.)
