How to change the default notification sound in iOS 17.2 (and higher)

Apple releases iOS 17.2.1 with important bug fixes/

You can change the default notification sound in iOS 17.2 (and higher). Here’s how:

° Open Settings and select Sounds & Haptics.

° Tap Default Alerts.

° Choose your preferred sound from the list.

° If you want to change the default notification haptics, tap Haptics at the top of the screen, then select your preferred haptic feedback.

° Confirm your changes by backing out of the menu.

Once this option is changed, any and all notifications that use the default alert will use the selected sound and haptic pattern. Apps with custom notification sounds won’t be affected.
