Hey, Apple, I want my Mail prefs to simply sync automatically across multiple Apple devices

Recently, I tried to send an email from my iPad Pro, but got this message: “Unable to Send Email. A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The sender address ‘dennis.sellers@comcast.net’ was rejected by the server.

However, the email settings are the same in both my macOS Mail app and my iOS Mail app. I made sure that the Outgoing Mail Server SMTP was set to smtp.comcast.net. Folks have had problems with the Comcast server switching itself to “smtp.me.com” or something like that and having to be changed backbefore anything works properly again.

All of which begs the question: why doesn’t the Mail prefs simply sync automatically across multiple Apple devices to avoid problems in setting up email accounts on all my Apple devices. I want to set up my emails once, and not have to worry about dealing with server info every time I buy or update a macOS or iOS device.
