The day is finally here! The redesigned Apple World Today is scheduled to go live on a new platform designed to optimize browser loading speeds and make our lives as bloggers a bit easier. As you might expect, there may be some glitches later today and through the weekend.
First of all, the “old” site may still appear in your browser for several days showing the same content. If this happens, clear your browser cache and then bring up https://appleworld.today again. That should load the new website. How will you know it’s new? It will look a lot different…
Second, there may be times where the site is totally unavailable while Domain Name System (DNS) figures out where the new site is actually hosted. This should be a temporary situation — please just plan on coming back later in the day.
Finally, if you currently read Apple World Today on an RSS reader, note that our RSS URL will change to https://appleworld.today/feed after the update.
There will be some additional changes made after this weekend, but we wanted to get the BIG switch done before making those changes. We hope to keep the glitches to a minimum, and thank you for your patience as we make this big move.
