Guest List Organizer a solid OS X solution for organizing events

Xwavesofht’s Guest List Organizer for Mac OS X isn’t for everyone. But if you regularly schedule events or have a major shindig coming up (say, a wedding) it’s money well spent.

The app automates and coordinates guest invitations, RSVPs, contact information, and table assignments. Guest List Organizer boasts iCloud syncing between devices and generates printable/shareable PDF reports that simplifies event organizing.

Guest List Organizer for Mac OS X is very user friendly. Its interface — akin to that of Apple’s Calendar – is intuitive. You can even view it in full screenmode  with three columns displayed simultaneously: Event, Guest List, and Guest Profile.

One of the coolest features of Guest List Organizer is the ability to import Facebook Friends, Address Book Contacts, and Guests from previous events. You can analyze guest data with 11 different, customizable PDF reports with support for default, pre-defined, and custom fields.

Guest List Organizer lets you print or share reports by using Dropbox and/or Evernote. You can manage relationships between guests and sort guests by RSVP status, attendance, name, and more. Finally, you can track all the info with support for pre-defined and custom fields for guests (job, table number, etc.)

It would be nice if you could tweak the appearance of Guest List Organizer, especially if you don’t favor the Calendar-ish look. Otherwise, this is a fine one-stop solution for organizing events. It’s available at the Mac App Store for US$9.99.
