Graphite is a fine 2D/3D CAD wireframe drafting package for Mac, Windows systems

Though it’s been awhile since it’s been updated, Ashlar-Vellum’s Graphite 10 is still a solid 2D/3D CAD wireframe drafting package for Mac and Windows systems. And a new version is due soon.

Graphite offers precision wire-frame drafting with an easy-to-use interface. It sports a font report for specifying missing fonts and offer substitute font designations.

The Draw Control order in version 10 can be controlled either from the Layers dialog box of the Arrange menu. Tool palettes and dialog box positions are now remembered independently for every screen size used, including single and dual screen configurations. DXF/DWG import supports up to AutoCAD 2016 and the handling of raster images has been improved.

Version 11 is due this month and will offer: support for macOS 10.13; support for the latest DXF/DWG up to AutoCAD 2018; bug fixes; and enhancements of existing features.

A permanent commercial, single-user license for new users costs $1,395. You can see all purchasing options here.
