Executive Leather iPhone Sleeve is sumptous, but you’ll need an extra purchase

As any long-time Apple World Today patron knows, I’m a big fan of WaterField Designs’ products. The company’s new Executive Leather iPhone Sleeve — available in six custom-fitted sizes for the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max (“naked” or within an Apple case) is as gorgeous as the rest of the company’s products, but doesn’t fit my needs. At least without an additional purchase.

Handcrafted from full-grain cow or pebbled bison leather, it looks and feels great. The $69.9 Executive Leather iPhone Sleeve  is lined with soft Ultrasuede  that protects and cleans the screen of the smartphone as you slide it in and out of a coat, briefcase, or purse. However, it’s too big to fit into a pants or shirt pocket. You can spring an extra $5 for a loop and carabiner so it can be attached to a belt or bag loop, which is what I need to use the case.

The Executive Leather iPhone Sleeve comes in high quality brown cow or black pebbled bison leather. The bottom cut-out enables in-case charging and earbud connection. (Text and call notifications remain audible with iPhone inside.)

However, you’ll have to remove the iPhone from the case for wireless charging.

For that reason, and the need to buy a loop and carabiner, I prefer the $89 Ranger Phone Case over the Executive Leather iPhone Sleeve.
