Drone video shows solid progress on Apple Campus 2

Drone pilot and videographer Matthew Roberts has published his monthly update video of the construction of Apple Campus 2, and things are really coming along. The majority of curved glass is now installed on the “spaceship” building and the roof is nearly complete, so installation of the thousands of photovoltaic solar panels that will be used to help power the facility has begun.

Earthmoving for landscaping purposes continues, and the parking structure appears to be almost complete. The magnificent employee fitness center is really coming along as well, and Roberts notes that it has an estimated cost of $70 million. Way to take care of your employees, Apple!

I recommend watching the video in 4K if you have the capability, as it’s quite impressive.
