Documentary series ‘Dear….’ now available on Apple TV+

The documentary series “Dear.…” is now available on Apple TV+. Inspired by Apple’s “Dear Apple” spots, it takes a cinematic approach to biographies of iconic figures in society today by using letters written by those whose lives have been changed through their work.

The 10-episode series will profile internationally recognized leaders including Oprah Winfrey, Gloria Steinem, Spike Lee, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Yara Shahidi, Stevie Wonder, Aly Raisman, Misty Copeland, Big Bird and more. The series is executive produced by Emmy and Peabody Award winner R.J. Cutler (“The September Issue,” “Untitled Billie Eilish Documentary”) alongside Todd Lubin, Jay Peterson, Jane Cha and Lyle Gamm. Matador Content and Cutler Productions produce the project for Apple.

Apple TV+ is available on the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac, select Samsung and LG smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV and Roku devices, as well as at tv.apple.com, for $4.99 per month with a seven-day free trial. The Apple TV app will be available on Sony and VIZIO smart TVs later this year. For a limited time, customers who purchase a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod touch can enjoy one year of Apple TV+ for free. This special offer is good for three months after the first activation of the eligible device.1 For more information, visit apple.com/tvpr.
