Demand for iPhone 14 Pro models are high compared to iPhone 13 Pro models

According to JP Morgan’s Apple Product Availability Tracker — as noted by AppleInsider — consumer demand for the iPhone 14 Pro models are high compared to those of the iPhone 13 Pro range, while sales of the Apple Watch Ultra are considered to be quite robust.

The article adds that the lead times for the currently-released iPhones are short for the standard iPhone 14, but remain extended for the Pro models, In the second week of tracking delivery timings across multiple regions, it seems that consumers can get an iPhone 14 delivered in an average of just three days.

In a September 12 post on Medium, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the iPhone 14 Pro and ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ Max have seen “neutral” and “good” pre-order results compared to the iPhone 13 Pro and ‌iPhone 13 Pro‌ Max.

He added that delivery wait times of more than four weeks may indicate good demand for the new high-end devices. Kuo says it’s”unclear” whether Apple will increase shipment forecasts of its Pro models, but there’s a “growing” chance that it will cut orders of the ‌iPhone 14‌ and ‌iPhone 14‌ Plus, which account for around 45% of iPhone 14 shipments.

What’s more, on Sept. 13 Investor’s Business Daily said that “the data continues to point to robust demand for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, which could have a materially positive impact for both mix and margins.”

Orders for the new iPhones can be placed through Apple’s  online storefront and the Apple Store app
