Da Vinci Eye, which specializes in the art-tech space, has launched its free AR Art Projector app on the Apple Vision Pro.

The core functionality of the app is enabling users to look at any surface, be it a wall or a piece of paper,  and see a transparent picture or stencil perfectly positioned for tracing, sculpting, or cutting. Da Vinci Eye: AR Art Projector also packs features such as user-friendly gesture controls for effortlessly scaling and repositioning images on any surface, and quick-access motions to modify image opacity in real-time.

Additionally, the app incorporates features from its iOS version, such as the option to apply image filters as well as their patented system that allows users to deconstruct any photo and turn it into a step-by-step tutorial. According to the folks at Da Vince Eye, the capabilities of Da Vinci Eye extend far beyond the traditional canvas.

This app empowers  creativity across various artistic and creative mediums, including cake decorating, wood burning, embroidery, and mural art. It’s not just a tool for artists but also a resource for  art therapy and physical rehabilitation, and providing support for artists with visual impairments.
