Along with Samsung, VIZIO, and LG, Sony has announced that AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support is coming to its Z9G Series, A9G Series, and X950G series of TV sets.
HomeKit is a framework that allows control of compatible home automation devices through iOS and Siri. AirPlay 2 is Apple’s followup to the original AirPlay Wi-Fi-based music playback standard.
Sony’s TVs come in sizes ranging from 55 inches to 98 inches (yep, 98 inches). Needless to say, they’ll put a ding in your wallet.
