Apple looks to increase sales of its AirPods range this year by a third, but will still lose some market share, according to Bloomberg.
The article says that the tech giant finds its share of the true wireless earphones market at 35% (down from 50% in 2019), followed by China’s Xiaomi with 10% and Samsung with 6%, based on Counterpoint Research data. Still, Apple is expected to sell 82 million units of AirPods and AirPods Pro this year. And the company is purportedly working on “AirPods Studio,” over-the-ear headphones.
