Apple is preparing a series of bundles that will let customers subscribe to several of the company’s digital services at a lower monthly price, according to a report by Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman.
Quoting unnamed “people with knowledge of the matter,” the usually-reliable Gurman says the bundles, dubbed “Apple One” (at least inside Apple presently) will launch as early as October alongside the “iPhone 12” announced. There will purportedly be different tiers.
A basic package will include Apple Music and Apple TV+, while a more expensive variation will have those two services and the Apple Arcade gaming service. The next tier will add Apple News+, followed by a pricier bundle with extra iCloud storage for files and photos.
Chances this rumor is true, according to the Sellers Research Group (that’s me): 100%. Besides Gurman’s proven track record, it make perfect sense. After all, it’s what Amazon does with its Amazon Prime service with great success.
