JustWatch: Apple spending about $17 billion on Apple+ content this year

JustWatch an international streaming guide, says that  Netflix is responsible for 45% of the overall content spending since 2010. 

It’s spending 2.5 times more than Prime Video in 2020. Recently launched streaming services as Peacock and HBO Max are already investing half as much into content as Hulu this year.

According to JustWatch, this year Netflix is spending up to US$20 billion on content. However, Apple isn’t far behind, spending about $17.3 billion on content in 2020.
