A new study by CashNetUSA — state-licensed online lender that offers payday loans, installment loans and line of credit products — compared subscription costs and salaries to find which countries are getting the best deal for Apple Music in 2020. Key findings include:

India is the cheapest place for Apple Music in absolute terms, with a subscription of approximately US$1.32.

Danish Apple Music costs the most, at $15.50 for an individual monthly subscription.

The best deal compared to the local salary is in Bermuda, where a subscription costs $5.99 or 0.07% of the $8,283.33 average paycheck.

Niger gets the worst deal, with a subscription ($2.99) costing 11.76% of the average wage ($25.42).

Apple Music is cheaper than Spotify in 54 markets, most notably in Costa Rica, where the difference is $3/month.
