Apple will likely offer a monthly subscription service for Macs, iPads, Apple Watches

An Apple One services bundle? iPhone Upgrade Program. The analysts at Loup Ventures thinks this is just the beginning and that Apple will offer a “360° bundle” hardware subscription offering. The research group says you should “think of this as paying a monthly fee to Apple for most of your tech needs.”

“Both hardware subscriptions and the subsequent 360° bundle align with two macro trends: an ongoing digital transformation and changing consumer buying preferences,” writes Loup Ventures. “Additionally, Apple is the only company that can make this work, given their service and maintenance logistics, along with seamless hardware and software integration.”

Today, about 55% of the company’s revenue can be purchased as a subscription. Loup Ventures says that, by adding Mac, iPad, and Watch subscriptions, that number will approach 85%. The research group doesn’t offer a prediction on what a 360° service might cost.
