Barron’s: Johnson & Johnson supplants Apple as Most Respected Company

Johnson & Johnson — best known for baby powder and band-aids — has replaced Apple as Barron’s Most Respected Company. In fact, Apple slipped to number three, according to the magazine.

Johnson & Johnson jumped to No. 1 from No. 6 in 2015. Berkshire Hathaway moved into second place, up from third place last year.

Online retailer Amazon.com advanced to No. 4 from No. 17. Rounding out this year’s top five: Nike, which moved from ninth place in 2015.
