AWT TV Episode 50: Facebook Live didn’t work, but we’re here anyway

This episode of AWT TV — our 50th! — was supposed to mark our triumphant return to Facebook Live…only the process that was built to start the Facebook Live event on the Mac and then run over to Steve’s iPad Pro didn’t work. At least we were able to capture the video and bring it to you this way.

On AWT TV Episode 50, we discuss:

  • The new WebsiteVoice tool on AWT that allows readers with vision issues to listen to articles

  • We thank our sponsor of the week, DearMob iPhone Manager

  • Microsoft Wordament — the iOS word game displayed in episode 49 — gets an ad-free subscription version

  • We discuss streaming TV and how great the Star Trek series are!

  • General griping about how slow Apple is in terms of getting the new iMac and Mac Pro models to markets

  • Steve’s working on a video “Better iPhone and iPad Photography” class that will eventually be marketed through Udemy

  • We discuss how great Amazon Prime is getting not only in terms of the content you get with each year’s subscription, but how fast their deliveries are getting in the “big cities”

  • Steve mentions that he’ll be at the Macintech user group meeting on February 12, 2019 at the Metrum Credit Union in Centennial, CO, speaking on health apps

We’ll try again with Facebook Live next time we’re on, which will be February 5, same time, same channel.
