Apple World Today is known worldwide as a top news site for news and features about Apple. The online publication is listed as a “Top Media Outlet Headquartered in Colorado” for 2021 by UK-based Boove.
The website’s headquarters is in the Denver suburb of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. AWT joins a number of other well-known media outlets on the list for 2021. Those outlets include WeatherNation TV, LifeNews, Voice Media Group, Joystiq, and Examiner.com.
Apple World Today is part of Raven Solutions, LLC, a company providing consulting and publishing services since 2005. Prior to 2005, AWT’s publisher Steve Sande was responsible for a number of online publications including MAGIC (a bulletin board system focused on Apple products), PDAntic.com, and The iPhone Ranch.
The website started in 2015 after another news site Sande worked for — AOL-owned TUAW — was shut down during a consolidation. The site has been online continuously for six years, and was recently redesigned to provide more features and speed.
