<p>Thanks to Twitter, you can find every song that gets played on <a href="http://apple.com/music/radio">Beats 1</a>. </p><p>Here's a scenario you might find familiar. You're listening to <a href="/blog?category=Apple%20Music">Beats 1</a> when a great song comes on that you haven't heard before. You try to add it to your collection but it's not available. You search the iTunes Store but it's not there either. In the meantime, the song is over. What was it again? Drat, I forgot. Oh well. </p>

<p style="margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px">Dempsey is a very, very lucky cat belonging to Kyle Hagen and Melissa Caolo. That's <em>her</em> iPod touch - Kyle let us know that "Now that Dempsey's owner has upgraded to an iPhone she has claimed his iPod Touch as hers. 'Finally a device I can operate without thumbs!'"</p><p>With that intent look in those beautiful green eyes, I don't think there's any way Kyle is going to get that iPod touch back... ever. Does Dempsey have her own Apple Music account yet?</p>

<p>This week we're taking a look at <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/moveo-calc/id988352931?mt=8">Moveo Calc</a> (free) for iPhone and Apple Watch, a calculator app with minimal looks and speedy operation. It looks really nice on the Apple Watch, and is lightweight and speedy. Here's our look at Moveo Calc.</p>

<p style="margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px">"Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by Tears for Fears will forever remind me of riding in my then girlfriend's crappy <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oldsmobile_Omega">Oldsmobile Omega</a>, windows down, sun shining, off to have some fun. </p><p>Van Halen's "5150" brings me back to riding the bus with the soccer team to away games. </p><p>Nitzer Ebb's "Join In The Chant" recalls my first year living in Boston.</p><p>These summer anthems are inextricably linked with time, place, and feelings: speeding in the Olds, the camaraderie of teammates, a new adventure beginning. </p><p style="margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px">All of it was fueled by radio.</p>

<p>To entice users to check out Apple Music, Apple is providing three free months of the paid service at launch. This includes access to the streaming Apple Music service, unlmited skip in Music Radio and full access to Music Connect. Similar to most trials, Apple automatically will charge you for your first month of paid service when that trial period ends. </p>

<p>The new Music app in iOS is chock full featueres, including Beats 1 radio content, the For You recommendation engine and the Connect social network. The Music app is all about music so it make sense that Apple`would include a mini player that allows you to control your music while you browse through all the content in the app. Read on to find out more about the mini player and how to use it. </p><p> </p>

<p>Apple earlier this week released iOS 8.4, bringing Apple Music to the company's iOS devices. Though the update was received favorably due to its Music components, many users noticed that a popular feature -- Home Sharing support for music -- was missing.  </p>

<p>Apple Music Connect is a social network for musicians to "connect" with their fans by sharing content and adding a comment when their fans respond. Connect isn't for everyone, and you can remove it from Apple Music if you do not want to use the social network. Once removed from Apple Music, the Connect tab is conveniently replaced by Playlists. </p>

<p style="margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px">While the fun of "The Sentence," a feature of Beats Music, does not appear in Apple Music, its most imporant aspect -- perfectly curated playslist -- lives on.</p><p style="margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px">When <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/12/arts/music/beats-music-enters-online-streaming-market.html?_r=0">Beats Music was announced in January of 2014</a>, I had accounts with <a href="http://www.rdio.com/home/en-us/">Rdio</a>and <a href="http://pandora.com/">Pandora</a>, and each served a purpose. I used Pandora's themed, streaming stations as a limitless shuffle mode, while Rdio was a library of on-demand music. Beats Music offered both options plus the careful curation of its employees and partners. I was hooked and went all-in just a few days after launch, ditching both Rdio and Pandora.</p>

<p style="margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px">Earlier this week, Beats DJ Zane Lowe interviewed Eminem on the air. It was the young station's first major interview and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEWXNWwAr1Q">now you can listen to the guys talk on YouTube</a>. They discussed the forthcoming Southpaw, Eminem doing his own stunts and the forthcoming soundtrack, coming July 24th. </p><p style="margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px">If you missed it the first time around, here's your chance to listen in.</p>

<p>Is that a drone overtaking an unsuspecting family's mini van? No, it's the Apple Maps vehicle gathering information to make the Apple Maps experience better, <a href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/15/07/01/apple-maps-vehicles-project-expands-to-13-new-us-states-in-july">as noted by AppleInsider</a>. Apple announced on Wednesday that the US program will expand in July. Specifically, the following areas will be scann</p>

<p>Apple has steadily improved Siri's music controls, allowing you to open the music app, play songs, and even identify tunes using Shazam. This integration continues in the new Apple Music with Siri allowing you to interact with Apple Music tracks, Music Radio stations and even Beats 1. </p>

<p style="margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px">Apple silently updated the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.apple.com/pr/bios/" rel="noopener noreferrer">executive profile web page</a>, with some new photos and bios showing up for some of the execs as well as some previously announced title changes and promotions.</p><p>Probably the most obvious changes were made to reflect Apple's commitment to design. Jony Ive's title is now Chief Design Officer, with Alan Dye making an appearance on the page as the company Vice President of User Interface Design and Richard Haworth debuting as the Vice President of Industrial Design.</p>

<p>Four years ago, olloclip sought Kickstarter support for its first accessory lenses for iPhone. That product, and successive iterations of olloclips for various iPhones and other smartphones, have been highly successful. Now the company is going back to its roots, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/olloclip/olloclip-studio-an-integrated-mobile-photography-s" rel="noopener noreferrer">tapping Kickstarter backers for an entirely new product called olloclip Studio</a>. </p>
