<p>Apple today reiterated its belief that "Music is in our DNA" by making a series of announcements that really point to the company's commitment to sound. Not only do the <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2016/9/7/the-iphone-7-and-iphone-7-plus-are-water-resistant-with-new-cameras-and-stereo-speakers" rel="noopener noreferrer">iPhone 7 and 7 Plus</a> include stereo speakers built-in, but they'll also come with new Lightning EarPods. The biggest news, though, was the introduction of wireless AirPods and new Beats wireless headphones. </p>

<p>It wasn't mentioned during today's event, but sharp-eye Team AWT member dubsdotla (Derek Scott) pointed out that <a target="_blank" href="http://www.apple.com/macos/sierra/" rel="noopener noreferrer">macOS Sierra</a> now has a release date -- September 20. </p>

<p>While the rest of the world has been reading the rumors that were finally quashed today with the announcement of the iPhone 7, tech bloggers have been inundated for the past week or so with products that will work with the newest member of the iPhone family. <p>With the announcement of the newest iPhone just a day away, many existing iPhone owners might be starting to think about selling their "old" iPhone to get some cash to help defray the cost of the new equipment. As an Apple blogger, I pretty much <em>have</em> to get each year's new model and unlike some of the writers at the bigger blogs, I can't afford to just go out and buy the new model and throw the old ones into my "museum".
