totallee’s minimalist iPhone case goes jet red for a good cause

When it comes to protecting your iPhone with a minimum of bulk and weight, there's probably nothing better than the cases from totallee. While these cases won't keep your iPhone protected from a 40-foot fall onto sharp rocks, they're perfect for day-to-day use, keeping the phone's surface from scratches and nicks. Now the company has released a jet red version of the iPhone case for just $25, and buying one does more than just protect your phone -- 10% of proceeds from sales of this case go to the United Nations Foundation and the global fight against HIV and AIDS.

Absorbits Wet Phone Rescue Pouch: A better idea than a bowl of rice

For years, the go-to solution for people who have accidentally dropped an iPhone into water has been to put it into a bowl of uncooked rice: the rice absorbs the water and leaves a nice, dry iPhone. Newer iPhones are much more water resistant, but it's still a good idea to dry them completely after a dunking. Now comes an inexpensive solution from Absorbits, which has announced the Wet Phone Rescue Pouch ($9.99, affiliate link).

Twelve South Curve desktop stand for MacBook is a beautiful and ergonomic work of art

One term that doesn't get quite the mileage as it did in the days of desktop PCs is "ergonomic". The term is defined as being an adjective that means "relating to or designed for efficiency and comfort in the working environment", and ergonomic design of computer workspaces and surfaces can make a huge difference in the day-to-day comfort and health of computer users. Twelve South has just released the $49.99 Curve for MacBook, a stand that places the screen of modern MacBooks at the precise height for comfortable viewing.
