A new iPod touch may be coming soon

<p>Along with all of the other goodness found in this weekend's leak of the iOS 11 golden master, it appears that the iPod touch may finally get an update. Leak source Benjamin Geskin <a target="_blank" href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/17/09/11/7th-gen-ipod-touch-with-face-id-hinted-at-in-ios-11-gm-code" rel="noopener noreferrer">found reference to a device labeled as "iPod8,1"</a> in the code, which may point to an all new iPod touch.</p>

What we’ve learned from this weekend’s leaks

<p>In case you were battening down the hatches for Hurricane (now Tropical Storm) Irma or just had a really big party weekend, you may have missed the fact that there was a leak of the iOS 11 Golden Master (final version) and the tvOS 11 firmware. Latest drone video from Duncan Sinfield shows completed Steve Jobs Theater

<p>On Tuesday, we'll be treated to the first interior views of the Steve Jobs Theater at <a target="_blank" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Park" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apple Park</a>, which will be the likely location of many future product reveals by Apple. Drone pilot <a target="_blank" href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoc4iO1r4Bv0kuABk5PUwdw" rel="noopener noreferrer">Duncan Sinfield</a> has been treating folks to wonderful videos of the construction of Apple Park, and in this latest video you can see a group of people -- Apple execs, perhaps? -- standing inside the completed facility.</p>

Video: Apple Watch loads Frogger onto an Atari 2600

<p>Our buddy Niles Mitchell (AKA <a target="_blank" href="http://twitter.com/napabar" rel="noopener noreferrer">napabar</a> on Twitter) is back with another one of his fun videos. This time, Niles is using a <a target="_blank" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starpath_Supercharger" rel="noopener noreferrer">Starpath Supercharger</a> plugged into an <a target="_blank" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_2600" rel="noopener noreferrer">Atari 2600</a> game console, connected to a small Bluetooth receiver that's linked to his Apple Watch. With a tap on the Apple Watch, he quickly loads <a target="_blank" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frogger" rel="noopener noreferrer">Frogger</a> onto the Atari console and away we go!</p>

Crowdfunding: Won’t Get Fooled Again

<p>My love affair with crowdfunding is officially over.</p><p>For a long time, I’ve been a huge fan of Kickstarter and Indiegogo, having backed a number of successful campaigns. I was even such a proponent of crowdfunding that Ross Rubin invited me to be his co-host on his <a href="http://backerjack.com">Backerjack</a> podcast. But now, you can count me out on spending a dime on any future campaigns.</p>
