<p>JNUC 2017, the eighth <a target="_blank" href="http://jamf.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jamf</a> Nation User Conference, has been an impressive experience. From the organized plans to get here to the excellent hospitality of the Hyatt Regency, JNUC’s venue, this has been the best organized conference I have ever attended.</p>

<p>Earlier in the week, we looked at <a href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2017/10/24/review-three-inexpensive-macbook-pro-usb-c-hubs-from-qacqoc">three inexpensive Hubs designed for the 2016 and 2017 MacBook Pro</a>. <p>During the opening day of the 2017 Jamf Nation User Conference (JNUC), Vanessa Perez, technology integration and library media specialist for Clinton Public Schools, Clinton, Oklahoma, presented a session on using Sketchnoting as a different way of taking notes.</p>

<p>The second day of the Jamf Nation User Convention (JNUC) kicked off with the second keynote session focusing on user identity security, Apple use in healthcare, device choice in the workplace, and “Apple plus Jamf” in education.</p>

<p>At this week’s Jamf Nation User Conference, Brad Anderson, corporate vice president, Microsoft, today demonstrated <a target="_blank" href="https://www.jamf.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jamf</a>’s integrated solution with <a target="_blank" href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/cloud-platform/enterprise-mobility-security" rel="noopener noreferrer">Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS)</a>, which provides automated compliance management for Mac devices accessing applications set up with Azure AD authentication.</p>

<p><a target="_blank" href="http://Macphun.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Macphun</a>, the Ukraine-based software house that has created photographic editing software for the Mac including Luminar and Aurora HDR, has announced that it will be changing its name to SKYLUM in 2018.</p><p>The name change was brought about by the realization that the company's products now run on a variety of platforms, not just the Mac. The company expanded to Windows recently and also has products that run on iOS devices. </p>
