<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Yesterday, <a href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2018/9/24/are-apple-products-such-as-the-iphone-xs-and-iphone-xs-max-too-expensive" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Dennis Sellers published a very good article on Apple World Today</a> stating that even though the new iPhones are indeed expensive, they are worth the money. I concur with Dennis on this and want to add some reasons the price of the new iPhones are definitely worth the cost to me. The prices of the new iPhones range from $999 to $1449. Even though very expensive, I still feel these prices are well worth what Apple asks. Here are some reasons:</p>

<p>Four months ago I had never heard of <strong><a target="_blank" href="http://jamf.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jamf</a></strong> or the <strong>Jamf Nation User Conference</strong>. Now I feel like I have a good idea of exactly what Jamf does and how it can help health care, education, and businesses deploy and maintain Macs, iPads and Apple TVs. If you are responsible for maintaining multiple Apple products, Jamf is the go-to choice for doing so.</p>

<p>When we think of the Apple TV, we usually think of movies, TV and other entertainment we can stream to our televisions. At a Jamf session today at the Jamn Nation User Conference, we were shown how much more Apple’s set-top box can do in business and institutions.</p>

<p>At this week’s Jamf Nation User Conference, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.jamf.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jamf</a>, which specializes in Apple device management, announced that it was selected as the exclusive mobile device management (MDM) partner by <a target="_blank" href="https://esparklearning.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer">eSpark</a>, a provider of differentiated learning through curated, educational iPad apps. </p>

<p>With a record 1,500 Apple IT administrators from around the globe in attendance, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.jamf.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jamf</a>, the management standard for the Apple ecosystem, today announced at its <a target="_blank" href="https://www.jamf.com/events/jamf-nation-user-conference/2017/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jamf Nation User Conference (JNUC</a>) the general availability of Jamf Pro 10 on Oct. 31.</p>

<p>At the JAMF Nation User Conference (JNUC) today the media was treated to a lunch for media only. We were given a preview of what to expect in the next two days.</p>

<p>When reading about Apple products you often come across the term “Apple Tax.” It refers to the premium Apple users pay for the products. This premium is simply not an imaginary addition to the cost of the product, but provides real, tangible benefits. More than once this year, I’ve been reminded how much the premium for Apple products is worth it.</p>

<p>This time of year, iPhone rumors run rampant with drawings and even full CAD renderings of the next generation Apple smartphones. None of us, outside of a few at Apple, know what the next iPhone will look like or what features it will have. Is there a final form that the iPhone will reach? There is only so much you can do with a rectangle. There can be subtle changes, but the form is still the same.</p>

<p>Last week, <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2017/4/4/daring-fireball-apple-has-new-mac-pros-imacs-in-the-pipeline" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apple previewed some future hardware offerings</a>. There's an updated Mac Pro in the pipeline for sometime in 2018 or after, as well as a new iMac scheduled for “this year.” Some pundits are already referring to the 2017 iMac as the iMac Pro. Even Apple itself said the new iMacs would cater to the needs of professional users.</p>

<p>On Nov. 28, 2016, I wrote a <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2016/11/28/the-synology-diskstation-ds416j-is-a-great-basis-for-a-camera-security-system?rq=synology" rel="noopener noreferrer">review of the Synology DS416j</a> for <em>Apple World Today</em>.
