Apple has again declined a request to testify at a U.S. congressional hearing that is part of a wider investigation into Chinese influence on technology companies, according to <a href="http://www.macrumors.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacRumors</a>.</p>

<p class="">I’ve said before that I'd love to see Apple introduce a HomePod Theater System. That may be coming. Apple has been granted a patent (number 10,575,095) for a “wireless and wired speaker hub for a home theater system.”</p>

<p class="">Apple’s 2020 iPhone line-up may support a new Wi-Fi standard known as IEEE 802.11ay that promises to deliver faster and longer range W-Fi networks, according to the Japanese blog <a href="http://www.macotakara.jp/blog/rumor/entry-39389.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacOtakara</a>. It’s still in the draft phase, but is expected to be finalized by the ned of the year.</p>
