<p class="">Let the Apple Car rumors roll on. Apple has been granted a patent (number 10,643,391) for an “immersive virtual display” for a vehicle. And it could use the rumored “Apple Glasses.”</p>

<p class=""><em>The Morning Show</em> co-runner, Kerry Ehrin, has signed a new multiple-year deal with Apple that will also see her develop new projects for the company's streaming service, reports <a href="https://deadline.com/2020/05/the-morning-showshowrunner-kerry-ehrin-overall-deal-apple-1202925111/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Deadline</a>. She’ll continue to lead the Reese Witherspoon-Jennifer Aniston drama while also developing new projects for Apple TV+.</p>

<p class="">A new document published by the Centers for Disease Control outlines what it sees as the critical features for digital contact tracing apps. Notably, the document recommends a system for contact tracing that leaves the door open to the project backed by Apple and Google, according to a <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2020/05/01/cdc-contact-tracing-criteria-opens-door-for-apple-google-approach.html?__source=twitter%7Cmain" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">CNBC</a> report.</p>

<p class="">Apple and Visa’s attempt to get an invalidation of a lawsuit that challenges ownership of Apple Pay's core technologies has failed. <p class="">In an email to Apple Card users about their April statements, Apple says "we understand that the COVID-19 situation poses unique challenges for everyone and some customers may have difficulty making their monthly payments.”</p>

<p class="">Brad Freitag, CEO of Claris, a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple, told <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2020/05/01/an-apple-business-you-dont-know-that-bets-on-big-coronavirus-growth.html"><span style="text-decoration:underline">CNBC</span></a> that says low-code application development software such as the company's FileMaker will gain popularity as the business world continues to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.</p>
