<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The rumor mills is in overdrive, so let’s look at all the speculation as we kick off the week.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The Tap Strap 2 introduces an AirMouse feature that lets you control devices such as iPads and smart TVs using hand gestures with its plug ’n play AirMouse functionality. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has applied for another patent (number 20190324503) — one of a dozen or so — for an “electronic device with a wrap-around display” that hints at a iPhone with a wrap-around screen. And — who knows? — perhaps iPads, as well.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">On a regular basis, <em>Apple World Today </em>posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they're popular and deserve mention. Here are this week’s picks.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Another five games have been added to Apple Arcade: The new titles include side-scrolling action platformer "Fallen Knight" by FairPlay Studios, barnyard game "Hogwash" by Bossa Studios, the getaway "Lifelike: Chapter One" by Kunabi Brother, puzzler "Tales of Memo" by Tendays Studio, and roleplaying folktale "Yaga" by Versus Evil. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">According to <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-10-25/apple-united-in-early-discussions-to-upgrade-sfo-terminal" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Bloomberg</a>, Apple plans to work with United Airlines to “upgrade” United’s terminal at San Francisco International Airport. The article doesn’t explain exactly what that will entail.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Could the Apple Watch someday completely replace your iPhone? I doubt it, as the  camera features of the smartphone would be impossible to replicate on the smartwatch. However, some folks disagree.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple brought (very) limited mouse support to iPadOS, but the tech giant may be planning to add full mouse support in the near future to make the iPad a better productivity and gaming platform, according to Cliff Maldonado, principal analyst and founder of <a href="http://www.baystreetresearch.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">BayStreet Research</a>, a firm that researches smartphone, tablet and smartwatch markets. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple is teaming up with StubHub for an Apple Pay promo. Use Apple Pay in the StubHub app — available at the Apple App Store — to get $10 off your purchase of $100 or more.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Let me kick this review off by saying that there’s no strong or consistent evidence that mobile phone use increases the risk of getting brain cancer or other head tumors. The United States National Cancer Institute has stated that "Radiofrequency energy, unlike ionizing radiation, does not cause DNA damage that can lead to cancer.”</p><p class="" data-rte-preserve-empty="true" style="white-space:pre-wrap;"></p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;"> really like Dark Mode on macOS, so I’m very excited that it’s now offered for iPhones and iPads as of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13. If you’re not familiar with it, Dark Mode transforms your screen’s desktop with a dark color scheme.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Let the Apple Car rumors roll on. Apple has been granted another patent (number 10,451,425) for an “autonomous navigation system.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has made its Apple TV app available for Amazon TV devices, starting with the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K and the older HD model. Support for the Amazon Fire TV Cube, Fire TV, and other models is purportedly coming soon.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple notes on its Chinese language Newsroom site that it’s been awarded the Green Supply Chain CITI Outstanding Brand title in China.</p>
