Apple’s App Store is projected to generate $41.5 billion this year

Worldwide consumer spending in mobile apps reached US$64.9 billion across the Apple App Store and Google Play in the first half of 2021, according to preliminary Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates and projections through June 30. This was 24.8% more than the $52 billion generated by both stores in the same period in 2020.

Apple TV+ nabs 25 Daytime Emmy Awards nominations

Apple has announced that it’s been honored with an additional 19 Daytime Emmy Award nominations in the Children’s & Animation and Lifestyle categories. This is in addition to the previously announced six nominations in craft categories, announced last month.
