<p>Elgato has launched the $49.95 Eve Light Switch, which the company says is the world’s first light switch with HomeKit technology for light control. <p>AdaptiveMobile, which specializes in mobile network security, claims that continued spam is being sent from North American iCloud users’ accounts, resulting in these accounts being used to send “hundreds of thousands” of spam SMS messages to China. The company is also reporting a broadening of attacks, with the initial messages offering counterfeit luxury goods now expanding to promote gambling sites.</p>

<p>According to <a target="_blank" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-10-25/apple-develops-car-operating-system-in-blackberry-country" rel="noopener noreferrer">Bloomberg</a>, Apple has dozens of software engineers in Canada building a car operating system. Many of the engineers working in Canada were hired over the past year and about two dozen came from BlackBerry Ltd.’s QNX, a leading automotive software provider, the article adds, quoting unnamed “people familiar with the matter.”</p>
<p>As noted by <a target="_blank" href="http://www.macrumors.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacRumors</a>, macOS Sierra 10.12.1 includes hidden Apple Pay images that depict a MacBook Pro with an OLED touch panel that will debut at Apple’s “hello, again” media event on Thursday, Oct. 27.</p>
