<p>Kohl’s will start selling the Apple Watch at 400 of its 1,100 stores on Nov. 15, “ hoping to drum up shopper traffic and attract more well-heeled customers during the Christmas period and beyond,” according to <a target="_blank" href="http://fortune.com/2016/11/03/kohls-apple/" rel="noopener noreferrer">Fortune.</a></p>

<p>While the volume of comparison shopping grows as more brands offer new tablet devices, those customers who currently use a tablet made by a company with a strong brand image are less likely to comparison shop, according to the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.jdpower.com/resource/us-wireless-smartphone-satisfaction-study" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>J.D. Power 2016 U.S. Tablet Satisfaction Study</em><em>S</em><em>—Volume 2</em>.</a> Apple’s iPad ranks highest in overall satisfaction and ranks highest in all factors except cost.</p>

<p>Apple has been granted a patent (number 20160320806) that will add fuel to the speculation that the company is planning an iPhone with a curved display, perhaps next year. Actually, it could also apply to Macs and iPads.</p>

<p>OWC has introduced the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.owcdigital.com/products/thunderbolt/thunderbolt-3-dock-overview" rel="noopener noreferrer">Thunderbolt 3 Dock</a>. Now available for pre-order, it offers 13 ports, up to 40Gbps of bandwidth, and the capability to power the new 2016 MacBook Pro. It will ship in February.</p>

<p>Glide, a company known for its messaging software, is building the <a href="http://getcmra.com/">CMRA</a>, an Apple Watch smartwatch strap that adds both a two-megapixel selfie cam and an eight-megapixel shooter for capturing what is in front of the watch wearer. It’s available for pre-order for $149; eventually, the pride will be $249. </p>

<p>In a note to clients — <a target="_blank" href="http://www.macrumors.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">as noted by MacRumor</a>s — KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi-Kuo says he believes that Apple has shifted its focus from its original rumored car project in favor of augmented reality technology. </p>

<p>As noted by <a target="_blank" href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/16/11/01/apple-cuts-512gb-1tb-ssd-upgrade-prices-by-up-to-200-on-older-mac-models" rel="noopener noreferrer">AppleInsider</a>, Apple has cut flash storage upgrade pricing for 512GB and 1TB modules on some older Macs.</p>
