<p>On a regular basis, <em>Apple World Today</em> posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they're popular and deserve mention. Here are today's picks.</p>

<p>Apple will turn over ad sales for its Apple News app to Comcast’s NBCUniversal in an exclusive deal that starts in January, according to <a target="_blank" href="http://www.recode.net/2016/11/7/13547014/apple-news-nbcuniversal-sales" rel="noopener noreferrer">recode</a>. The new deal means that NBCUniversal, instead of Apple, will sell any remaining ad inventory.</p>

<p>AT&T plans to give away Apple TV and Fire TV Stick devices to consumers who sign up for DirecTV Now, its TV streaming service, according to customer-support documents obtained by <a target="_blank" href="http://variety.com/2016/digital/news/directv-now-channel-list-leak-1201909846/" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Variety</em></a>.</p>

<p>China has adopted a controversial cyber security law to counter what Beijing says are growing threats such as hacking and terrorism, reports <a target="_blank" href="http://www.reuters.com/article/us-china-parliament-cyber-idUSKBN132049" rel="noopener noreferrer">Reuters.</a> The legislation,  set to take effect in June 2017, says "Ccritical information infrastructure operators" must now store both personal and business data on Chinese servers.</p>

<p>The Irish High Court has agreed to put Apple on its commercial list, fast-tracking the resolution of legal objections over its planned €850 million (£756 million) datacenter near Athenry, County Galway, according to <a target="_blank" href="http://www.businessinsider.com/high-court-decides-to-fast-track-apple-850-million-data-centre-2016-11" rel="noopener noreferrer">Business Insider</a>. </p>

<p>Apple will add a "Jet White" color option for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models, according to Japanese website <a href="http://www.macotakara.jp/blog/rumor/entry-31147.html"><em>Mac Otakara</em></a> — as noted by <a target="_blank" href="http://www.macrumors.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">MacRumors</a>.</p>

<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.ezq.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">EZQuest</a> has announced today the availability of new USB-C cables and adapters. They’re designed to enhance the latest release of MacBook Pros equipped with USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports and include the following:</p>

<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.lifeprint.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Lifeprint</a>, a portable Bluetooth printer that prints Augmented Reality Hyperphotos, has launched. <p>In a note to clients — KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo — says that Apple won’t refresh the iPhone SE in the first half of 2017 as Apple attempts to maintain high margins on its high-end iPhones.</p>
